PAYO's 2023 Opening Day Event set for Saturday, May 6th

The Pymatuning Area Youth Organization (PAYO) is pleased to announce that opening day for the 2023 season is set for May 6th in Andover. Planned to be at Pymatuning Valley High School, PAYO will kick off the 2023 season in style by highlighting our teams, players, coaches and sponsors, just as we did successfully in 2022.

"We are thrilled to be having an Opening Day ceremony again in 2023 to allows our organization to communicate to and thank all of those who continue to make PAYO a great organization for youth sports," said Cody Paul, President of PAYO.

The Opening Day ceremonies are scheduled to take place in the Pymatuning Valley High School gym, starting at 10 am sharp. All players and coaches are asked to wear their 2023 uniforms to the event so that we can recognize each team and player. Team photos will be scheduled to be taken after the ceremony which is expected to last no more than 45-50 minutes. Teams may also have games scheduled at the Rec Park and the Ohio Avenue fields later in the afternoon, weather permitting.
