LITTLE LEAGUE CHALLENGER

Little League Challenger is a league established by Little League in 1989. It is an adaptive program for individuals with physical and intellectual challenges. The purpose of the Challenger league is to allow children and young adults with special needs the opportunity to experience the game of baseball. It also provides them the chance to feel the joy of teamwork and success.
Each player is encouraged to participate in as much of the game that they're able, but they also can be teamed up with a "buddy" who will help them bat, run, field, and experience the game.
Pymatuning Valley Little League hosted a Challenger event and the turnout of participants and volunteers was a huge success. If you would like to volunteer for the next game scheduled on June 22nd, please reach out to Pymatuning Valley Little League's President, Brett Grabman.
