PAYO to sponsor Fall Baseball & Softball Instructional Clinics for Minors & Majors aged girls

Pymatuning Area Youth Organization (PAYO) is pleased to announce the return of the organization's Fall instruction, with both baseball and softball practices held this year. Sponsored by Pizza Joe's, Mega-Byte Computer Services, Perfect Pet Dog Training, Seeley Medical and Therapeutic Solutions, PAYO's Fall baseball and softball league is expected to last 4-6 weeks with one weeknight practice each week. Practices will start the week of Labor Day and will extend into October. This will be open to Minors and Majors baseball and softball aged girls (league aged 8-12) as well as Coach Pitch softball girls who intend to play Minors Softball next Spring.

In addition, anyone who did not play during our 2021 season will have to sign a waiver to ensure they have insurance coverage as PAYO's insurance ONLY covers our Spring/Summer 2022 rostered players.

All Baseball instruction will be overseen by Dan Creed with Softball instruction overseen by Luke Jernigan. We will focus on the fundamentals of the game and specific in-game situations to better prepare our girls for future softball play. Both the baseball and softball registrants are expected to be broken into two groups (per sport) at most practices - one for 2023 Minors players and one for 2023 Majors players. While games are not scheduled, scrimmages or friendly games may be added at a later date.

Registration for the 2022 Fall Baseball & Softball Instructional Clinics is just $20/player and is sponsored by Pizza Joe's, Mega-Byte Computer Services, Perfect Pet Dog Training, Seeley Medical and Therapeutic Solutions. Registration is now open on our Website, payobaseball.com, by logging into your account and viewing the available programs for your specific child. For first-time users of our Website, simply create an account and add your child's info, and from there you can determine their eligibility.
