50/70 All-Stars in District Championship

Our 50/70 Intermediate All- Stars are playing in the District Championship this afternoon. Their journey began with an opening round loss to Ashtabula All-Stars on June 22, but have since rebounded in a big way. On June 26th, they eliminated Grand Valley All-Stars from the tournament, by a score of 14-0. Then just yesterday, June 28th an extra inning victory over the Ashtabula All-Stars to force the one game District 1 Championship playoff.

Yesterday, in the top of the 8th inning, PV All-Stars poured on 8 runs to take a commanding lead of 17-9. Tucker Compan earned the win for PV yeterday, giving up just 3 hits, 2 walks, with 9 strikeouts over 5 innings in relief from the games starting pitcher Dash Vickery.

Offensively Brayden Herrod went 3/4 from the plate and led the team in hits. Gabriel Anslow & Vickery each drove in 3 runs.

The PV All-Stars 50/70 team consists of: Adam Croston, Tucker Compan, Grayson Barricklow, Dash Vickery, Greg Coder, Cameron Heath, Cooper Compan, Brayden Herrod, Carson Weaver, Jace Necessary, Gaven Rose & Gabriel Anslow.

They are coached by: Ron Barricklow, Joe Coder and Rob Vickery

June 29th will be a big day at the Andover rec park
